Shower Pipe Plumbing Question. Is There A Potential Problem In Removing And Replacing Wall Shower Head Pipe?

Plumbing question. Is there a potential problem in removing and replacing wall shower head pipe? - shower pipe

You just bought a new shower head with a pipe right through the wall, which was a kind of rain shower head is attached to provide. Currently, there is a pipe bent around the wall that is not appropriate for this title. Is there a potential problem by unscrewing the pipe through the wall and replace it? Of course I can not see what is happening and do not want to reduce a tiled wall.

No problem! Use a socket wrench, unscrew the age group, because it will replace. Use Teflon tape and joint compound on the arm, so there is no possibility of a leak in the wall. In order to strengthen his right arm, use a faux leather handle of a pair of channel lock to install the new arm to rotate from one end inserting into the tube and turn it clockwise, so that you stop safely to the right. Good luck!

No
But in most frightening and are a joint call for me, and shower arm.

It is common for people to break the arm. Much of this is done all the things hanging around him. You know, 4 or 5 bottles of shampoo and bath gel could be up to a gallon.

On-off shower was rarely broken arms --- since 1972 have had to go to the wall in order to solve the problem.

Just be careful. If you do not make it too easy, you know that if you pay attention. If it breaks over time to a "easyout leave.

Joe has the right answer. Chrome pipe in the wall is threaded and screws into a mounting in the wall. often you can get the chrome tube with your hands and turn. Wrap a cloth around the pipe on the wall and catch with a pliers or channel locks to unscrew. When installing the new leader to be sure his son with Teflon tape or paste, and try not to wrap it to get back. when it begins, with your proof that .... I hope to enter to deny what is log on with a view to the right path for you.

with any kind of leadership is a danger of a major disaster. But it has a low potential when you begin to solve the existing pipeline, you have to hold the tube in the next line of paper that will not break if you feel rundown May, a problem that does not simply accept that the pipeline have move to the next. When you make your hose on the other, using Teflon tape or paste to eliminate the leakage
Good luck
